Welcome to Murray Forrest Friends- Where Nature and Play Come Together
Murray Forrest Friends is committed to providing enriching Nature and Sensory Play programs in the picturesque landscapes of Perth, Western Australia. Our mission is to create immersive outdoor experiences that ignite children's imaginations, nurture their creativity, and support holistic development.
In our carefully curated playgroups held in local parks and community spaces across Peel, Murray, and surrounding suburbs, we aim to offer children the opportunity to connect with nature in a meaningful way. By engaging their senses and encouraging exploration, we strive to cultivate a sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around them.
Through our sessions, children are empowered to learn and grow in a supportive environment that values play, discovery, and interaction. By fostering meaningful connections with both their peers and adults, we create a space where children can build social skills, confidence, and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
At Murray Forrest Friends, we believe that by immersing children in sensory play experiences outdoors, we are laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning, exploration, and connection with the environment.
Nature Play Program, where the wonders of the great outdoors become our classroom! Our program is designed to inspire curiosity, foster a love for learning, and cultivate a deep connection to nature in children of all ages.
Set amidst the serene beauty of natural landscapes, our program encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
Our educators are passionate about nurturing each child's unique interests and learning styles. Through small group discussions, one-on-one mentoring, and collaborative projects, we create a supportive learning community where every voice is valued and heard.
At the heart of our program lies the belief that children learn best when they are free to explore, experiment, and play. Whether building forts in the forest, splashing in creeks, or collecting treasures from the shore, every moment spent outdoors is a chance to foster imagination, resilience, and a sense of wonder.
Intergenerational programs lower the issues of social isolation and loneliness by allowing different generations to come together, learn from one another, and form new friendships. The relationships formed between generations also improve communities by combating negative stereotypes and ageism. Intergenerational programs provide learning opportunities, care, and social support for children and older people in the same setting, at the same time.
These can benefit wellbeing across generations as children and older adults interact and exchange knowledge and skills.
Murray Forrest Friends would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet.
We pay our respects to the people and Elders past and present of the Binjareb land on which we come together to work, learn and play.
